Farm since 1750
 

Statiano has been a farm since 1750 and carried out agriculture for 3 centuries.

 

History and nature join hands here to create a unique landscapers and atmospheres.

This land is one of the most charming of the ancient "Maremma Volterrana", although one of the most hard and unsatisfactory from the agricoltural point of view because of the tickness of the soil (claycy ground) and its salinity hat make farming rather difficult.
 

For this reason we have concentrated on quality products, using the most suited farming techniques for these soils.
 

Our next goal will be to reintroduce wild breed of horse husbandry. Until the 70s, they were the indisputable masters of these lands.

Our guests can take part in the agriculture work, and follow us with patience, see with their own eyes the the developments day by day and then tell:
